Launching the "Fabulous Foodies" Club
Do you like enjoying dinner/lunch with friends? Do you like food? Do you like a bit of fun? Why not join our Friday/Saturday Night Dinner Club during day light saving time...do not worry! we will change it to Sunday luncheon club in "normal" time. Simply register your name and email address and we will send you information about the selected menus and dates/times. It is always BYO., so you will know the menu to select wines to suit. Free sparling water etc. for DDs.

We start at 0930am to be ready to collect children after school.
We explore the wonderful world of herbs. Start the day with lavender scones before we discover the difference between dried and fresh herbs with vegetables and poultry. Add some Asian flavour to lunch with prawns and taste salmon with honey and lavender. Finish the day with lavender and rosemary cookies. And yes! If time permits you will be invited to create your own special dish. Bring a pen and paper.

A 5 course degustation menu includes smoked salmon tartare followed by a prawn parcel with a delicate lemon sauce, lemon granita and asparagus & salmon with lavender & honey. Complete the luncheon with a cleansing green salad, cheese and dessert.

Saturday 4th: Bonsai workshop 1000am-2.00pm
Today you will begin a love affair with bonsai. Bring gloves, apron and sharp fine secateurs. Incl: a suitable tree, pot & soil, morning tea & lunch. It is hand-on so you can start your own creation.

Andrew is a gifted Conservatorium trained pianist. He has been privileged to travel and study overseas and plays both classical and popular music. Today we will also be lucky to meet his 5 year old son Roman, playing violin.
